John in Houston, 1997

Friends of John Denver is a non profit-making organisation financed entirely through donations and fund-raising activities. After deduction of expenses, all money raised is donated to charities supported by John Denver or aligned with his interests.

There is no charge for membership, which is open to all people who support the aims and objectives of the organisation.

Members are kept informed by email of events organised by the club and also of any John Denver related stories and events that come to our attention. They also have the opportunity to participate in the running of Friends of John Denver, should they wish to do so. Suggestions are always welcomed. As a member, you will be entitled to vote on important issues that are likely to affect the club and will receive an annual statement of accounts.

We also have a birthday list, and members who choose to be included receive a specially designed card from the club on each birthday.

If you would like to become a member please email Christine, who will add your address to our list. Your name and personal details (including any addresses and telephone numbers supplied) will not be disclosed to anyone except the club staff (as shown on Contacts page) without your permission.

If you would like to receive a unique JD e-card from the group on your birthday please email Christine with your birth day and month (no year required!). We introduced paper birthday cards in 2003 and they have been appreciated by our members, but due to rising costs we have now moved to electronic cards. A brand new one has been designed for this year - so if you aren’t on the list – contact Christine now!

As one of the main aims of the organisation is to provide support for one another and to perpetuate a sense of family we hold at least one get together each year. Have a look at all the event details.
