Here are some photos to give you a flavour of our walk in Matlock, Derbyshire on Sept 22nd in aid of the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. This nice young man from the DWT came along to thank us and to receive our cheque, and also to show us the navigation device they had purchased with funds rose on our last walk.

We were our usual assortment of men, women, children and animals - ranging from the seasoned walker to the novice- but together we made it - a total of eight miles with a break in the middle for lunch. Once again the sun shone, the laughter broke out and our hearts were filled with the joy of living. And in honour of the UN International Peace Day on the previous day Christine read out John's Peace Poem and also the Peace Prayer used by the Peace One Day organisation.
