Autumn Denver Day

Please come and join us for another Denver Day. We will be celebrating John’s life around our campfire and everyone who wants to entertain us is welcome to do so. It would be wonderful if as many of you as possible could be there to share it with us. So it’s guitars (and violins) at the ready to join in the fun. We have lots of poets out there too - everyone is welcome to make their contribution to a great day.

The doors will open at 10.00am, and after time to meet and greet friends old and new, the day’s festivities begin at 11.00am with a greeting from the club staff. The remainder of the day will be occupied with performances from our talented musician members and friends, the raffle and the auction, not forgetting lunch! In between there will be time to relax and chat, to browse our project tables and the photographs and memorabilia that we hope many of you will bring along – all to a gentle background of JD music. I’m sure those members travelling to Aspen this October will have lots of stories to share!

Following the success of our event at this venue last October, we once again have the availability of a bar in the club from 5pm and we can bring in a fish ‘n’ chip supper or a Chinese take away for those who would like to finish the day off this way. Please indicate below whether you would like supper, and whether you would prefer fish ‘n’ chips or Chinese, as we will need to place orders. The cost of the meal will be in addition to the ticket price, and will be payable on the day.
