Many thanks to FoJD members who attended our Coventry concert recently. Tickets sold out three weeks in advance, and in fact several tickets were re-sold after the original purchasers found that they couldn't attend. We have just heard the news that thanks to an extra donation by one of the concert attenders, the grand total raised has crept up to £600.
That total also contributes to a great milestone for us. It means that in the last five years we have now raised £10,000 for a wide variety of charities. Many thanks to all of your members who have contributed towards that achievement. Let us hope that we can add considerably to that over the next few years !

Tickets for our 6th annual Songs For Christmas show are now on sale priced £5 adults, £3 O.A.P's. Ticket price includes buffet.
The show is on Saturday 4th December, at Chapeltown Scout Hall, Chapeltown, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The show starts at 3:00pm (One Hour Later Than Previous Years!!) with an expected finish time of around 6:45pm.
All proceeds are again going to SUPPORT DOGS, who we hope will be in attendance with some of their highly trained animals.

This show has sold out for the last two years, and we are very hopeful of doing the same again this year, so we do advise anyone who really wants to be there, to book early to avoid disappointment.
In aid of a local Hospital Fund, as yet un-named. No Further Details available at this time, but will be passed on in due course.
Following our very successful show there last week, we have already been booked to do another show in this beautiful theatre. This time in aid of St. John's Ambulance, who were on duty for us last week. Full details to this and all our other shows will be on our website in due course, and information will be passed on to you, when it becomes available to us.
All four shows will be different. Our October and December shows will definately feature the music of John Denver. Content for our shows in March and April 2005 is not yet known. It all depends what our concert organizers want.
