It's hard to believe that 10 years have come and gone, but John's music still lives on! As it is a special year, we plan to change the format of the Christmas show a little bit this year.
Instead of the usual 1st half of Christmas songs, and part two the songs of JD. This year we aim to mix it up a bit, so that the whole show is a mixture of Christmas, and John Denver songs, not forgetting John's own Christmas songs of course !
The show is expected to end at around 6:30ish as usual, but if there is enough interest from F.O.J.D members and our own loyal mailing list members, we plan to do an extra section of songs right at the end, after the general public has left, just for club members. Sort of a private mini-concert dedicated to John, to bring our 10 YEARS On... Tour to a close.
The extra section (at no extra charge) will maybe last half an hour to an hour, depending what people want us to do extra, bearing in mind that long distance travellers will be heading home. We'll do our best to take any requests etc.
