Spring Denver Day and Concert

I’m delighted to tell you that John Adams and Guido Bos will be coming to the UK next March to perform a concert for us, following our early spring Denver Day. Many of you will be familiar with John from his previous UK concerts, or will remember him from the days of Free Spirit (when he was known as Jos). Some of you will also have enjoyed his concerts each October at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen – I know they are always a highlight of my trips! For those of you who have not heard John’s friend Guido, a fellow-countryman from Holland, he is a great keyboard player who has recorded a solo CD as well as accompanying John during his concerts in Europe and Aspen.

This will be John’s first UK concert since he went to live in Colorado, in 2000, and it’s an occasion not to be missed! Further details and ticket information will follow later in the year, but for now mark your diaries and calendars.

We will hold our Denver Day the same day, with the concert to follow in the evening. We believe this is the best arrangement to save people the expense and trouble of making two journeys at separate times. Funds raised at both events will be donated to Oxfam in support of our project to create classrooms and kit out teachers through the Oxfam Unwrapped scheme.
